We Begin

One of our first compositions written together. We Begin wanders through varying woodwind themes until it rests on the Moog synthesizer. The last half of the piece is free from click track metronomics- the Moog synth in polyphonic mode freely explores chord patterns and is greeted by applause and also DX7 synth crickets. Hearing applause and crickets are at the extreme responses to a work of music and we wanted to capture them. You’ll hear some strings melodies break their way through the piece- which can be interpreted as the drive of the human creative spirit.
