Music composer Van Ber guides you through how space and environment can inform artistic creation. He illustrates how the rehearsal room, the studio, and the theatre all uniquely influenced his writing of the ballet piece “When We Awake”. The piece was composed in collaboration with Dean Nelson from London, Ontario and choreographer Carol Mendes, artistic director of The Amok Project.
